Large Fine Antique Library Breakfront Bookcase Circa 1830, of finely figured mahogany with crossbanded and parcel gilt detail, fitted throughout with fully adjustable book shelving. The upper sections, with glazed doors, and the base with four shallow drawers, and two central cupboards with dummy drawer fronts, flanked by glazed doors with gilded brass wirework grilles behind. Reeded quarter pilasters to the sides with small carved and gilded parterre detail. ref 1009 |
