Antique Tallboy 
Mahogany Chest-on-Chest £5800

Circa 1780 Georgian Mahogany Chest-on-Chest or Tallboy, of superb quality and beautifully figured mahogany, having deep moulded canted cornice with dentil moulded detail, and reeded canted corners to the upper section. Fitted with a brushing slide, and having the original cast brass handles and escutcheons, which still bear traces of the original gilding.

Circa 1780 of well coloured mahogany, the frieze with hand carved blind fret work, the pair of glazed doors with astragal moulding, and enclosing adjustable shelving.  On later short cabriole legs with claw and ball feet.
