Georgian Mahogany Chest-on-Chest or Tallboy, of superb quality and beautifully figured mahogany, having deep moulded canted cornice with dentil moulded detail, and reeded canted corners to the upper section. Fitted with a brushing slide, and having the original cast brass handles and escutcheons, which still bear traces of the original gilding. The drawers all have oak linings, and even the backboards are of quality oak. A lovely piece in almost untouched original condition.
