8 George IV Mahogany Dining Chairs

Set of 8 antique dining chairs, George IV mahogany, early 19th century, circa 1830, lovely rich colour and comprising of one carver chair and 7 side chairs, all with bar backs and nicely carved acanthus detail to the back rail, and the base of the chairs with tapering square legs united by stretchers.  The chair seats have all been re-upholstered by a Master Upholsterer, and covered in calico ready for your own top cover, there is some wear and old repairs to the woodwork, but commensurate with their age, being well over 150 years old.   A hansom and stable design of chair,  and comfortable to sit in as well.
